<p>Neuromuscular Therapy, Connective Tissue Release and Therapeutic Massage.</p><h4>General Info</h4><p>Massage Essentials is owned and operated by Rachel Malecha, RN a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist of 20 years. Rachel Malecha holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University Of North Dakota. She received her massage training from Ohio College of Massotherapy and Northern light School of Massage. She has over 1000 hours of training in the following: Basic Western Swedish style massage, Neuromuscular Therapy from Judith Walker-Delaney, Cross Fiber Friction Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy (based on the teachings of Janet Travelle, MD), Connective Tissue Massage and Reiki training from John Latz of the Institute of Structural Integration, Heated Stone Massage, Ear Candling, Anatomy, Physiology and Ethics and Professionalism. Rachel is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and a board certified member of the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Massage Essentials Specializes in: Connective Tissue Massage Neuromuscular Therapy Deep Tissue Massage Trigger Point Therapy Swedish Massage Reiki Repetitive Use Injury Therapy Pre / Post Natal Massage Ear Candling What to expect from massage experience: During your initial visit, you will be required to fill out paperwork consisting of general client information, massage history, and health history. The client is also asked to sign a disclaimer, cancellation policy, and HIPPA form. The client will be provided with a bill of rights and asked to sign a form acknowledging their rights. This process typically takes less than 15 minutes. A typical massage session will last 30 to 90 minutes, with a longer session allowing for more extensive treatment. For treatment, the client disrobes to their comfort level and is covered by a sheet and/or blanket. The therapist only uncovers the particular part of the body being worked on at that moment. Therapy Fees: Therapy fees range from $40 to $120 according to length of visit and modalities used.
